Cadet Program
This program functions as an extension of the Squad in order to prepare you for the duties and responsibilities of a regular member and to assist the squad in rendering immediate and necessary first aid to the sick and injured.
Consisting of high school students between the ages of 16-17 residing in the Borough of Sayreville.
Requirements of a grade point average of C or higher. Grades are closely monitored by a cadet advisor.
Upon completing approved CPR Training, FEMA State Courses, and just a few more tasks you will be approved to sign up for a EMT Course!
Upon halfway completion of EMT Class, cadets will ride a 4 hour weekly duty crew typically between the hours of 6:00pm and 10:00pm.
Cadets are encouraged to assist the squad in fundraiser, community events, weather related standbys.
Cadets are required to participate in rig checks and take an active interest in learning.
Cadets are required to commit to 24 hours/month as well as attend a meeting & drill monthly.
